Resort guests over eight years old receive a complimentary introductory kitesurfing "taster," which includes flying a trainer kite on the beach and experiencing a guided joyride on the water. Guests over the age of 16 have the option of taking lessons with a seasoned pro from 2Elements.

When to Come
The best months for kitesurfing in St. Lucia are November through August. The average wind speed is between 18 and 20 knots in the winter and 14 and 16 knots during off-peak season, so you can feel confident it will be a memorable trip no matter what time of year.

Lessons / Safety
Since safety is the first priority at Coconut Bay, the 2Elements staff will personally evaluate your level of comfort on the water and ability to use the equipment to customize your course.
Has it been a while since your last water sports experience? Our coaching staff will be happy to accommodate any skill level and bring
you up to speed, so you can be confident while on the water.
Kiting is great for the whole family, and even beginners can learn over the course of five days. After the complimentary "taster" course,
each student usually needs about 10 hours of lessons to become confident on the board.
At the completion of the course, you will receive an International Kiteboarding Organization (IKO) certification card. Check packages and

High-Tech Gear
Our water-loving team uses state-of-the-art equipment so anyone with the desire to kitesurf can learn within a week.
Our high-tech gear features helmets equipped with strategically-placed cameras and waterproof radios so surfers can communicate with instructors on land
who help correct performances and improve technique.
Students who use this program learn 30 to 50 percent faster since they can also review their kitesurfing tapes and watch instructional videos as part of the training at the beachfront center.
